Naturopathic Patient Care
Naturopathic medical doctors (NMD) receive similar levels of training and share similar diagnostic and assessment skills, but the foundational philosophy of medicine differs from conventional medicine. NMD approach to medicine is slightly different than that of most medical doctors. NMDs treat patients as a whole person by addressing the physical, lifestyle, environmental, mental, and emotional aspects of health and wellbeing. This allows our naturopathic doctors to find and treat the cause of the disease, individualized, and not just symptoms, using a variety of therapies, such as:
1. Botanical medicine
2. IV therapy
3. Pharmaceutical prescription, if it is necessary
4. Adjuvant treatment to traditional medicine
5. Referral to specialist/hospital/ER if necessary
6. Hormone replacement therapy
7. IM therapy
8. PRP therapy
9. Nutritional supplements
10. Homeopathic remedies
11. Trigger points therapy
12. and more
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy
The body can heal itself. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a form of regenerative medicine that can utilize bodies self-healing skill and amplify the natural growth factors your body uses to heal the injured tissue. PRP is a concentrate of platelet-rich plasma protein derived from your whole blood, centrifuged to remove red blood cells. (PRP) therapy uses local injections of the concentration of a patient’s own platelets to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints. Some of the main benefits of PRP injections are that they can reduce the need for anti-inflammatories or other stronger medications like opioids. Moreover, the side effects of PRP injections are very limited, since the injections are produced from your own blood, therefore your body will not reject or react negatively to them. In addition to treatment of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints, this regenerative medicine is utilized for Hair restoration and Facial Micro-needling.
Facial Micro-Needling
Facial Micro-needling is a procedure uses tiny needles to prick the skin promoting new collagen to grow. Micro-needling is a simple, minimally invasive technique that may improve conditions such as following:
1. Wrinkles
2. Fine lines
3. Acne scars
4. Chicken pox scars
